Hi. I have just bought a MidiGal device and I have no idea how to update firmware, run arpeggiator etc. How can I connect it to MacBook or send a file to it?
To update firmware, power up the MidiGAL while holdking down encoder switch then send the firmware sysex to MIDI IN. See the docs on this web site.
Thank You! I was reading docs, but i don’t understand how to send the sysex. Should I use a computer od some synth? I use Korg Electric 2 and Moog Slimphatty.
You should use a computer and SysEx transfer program like Elektron C6 or MidiOX. The firmware SysEx files are available here: https://midisizer.com/midigal/
