Midi2CV Mk2 was updated to firmware 3.55:
- Revamped sysex handling allowing web page configuration and firmware updates
- Implemented damper pedal (CC 64) support – good for drones!
- Implemented unison modes for polyphonic setups
- Improved DAC precision at higher octaves
- Improved note tuning
- Optimized LFO/EG CC handling
I am interested in using the Midi2CV for AE Modular, which is strictly 0-5V. However though the Midi2CV can be configured to only send 0-5V gate and cv, it appears to require a +/-12 or +/-15V power supply! How can I modify the kit to only require a 5V supply? [You might also find it fun to convert the board to an AE format module: it’s nearly all the way there].
This is certainly doable, however will be pretty messy without redesigning the PCB. Basically, you’ll need to rework output buffers to use single rail power supply and through away all other voltage regs on board. Also, you don’t need CV scaling, single dual op amp with be enough.
Hello,
how can I order the following :
1x Midi2CV PCB
1x Pre-programmed ATMega328p
Thank you
